Environmental conditions appear conducive foradditional development of this system, and a tropical depression islikely to form this week as the system moves quickly across thecentral tropical Atlantic, approaching portions of the LeewardIslands by the latter part of this week.* Formation chance through 48 hours medium 40 percent.* Formation chance through 7 days high 70 percent.North-Central Gulf:A weak area of low pressure located over the north-central Gulf isproducing disorganized showers and T-Storms near the coasts ofLouisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
