For the North Atlantic Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of America:Active Systems:The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on TropicalStorm Dexter, located over the north-central Atlantic Ocean.Off the Southeastern United States:A weak area of low pressure located a couple of hundred miles offthe coast of the southeastern United States is producing minimalshower and T-Storm activity. Some slow tropical or subtropicaldevelopment is possible over the weekend while the system movesnorthward to northeastward, remaining well off the east coast of theUnited States. By early next week, the low is expected to becomeextratropical, ending its chances for tropical development.* Formation chance through 48 hours low near 0 percent.* Formation chance through 7 days low 30 percent.Central Tropical Atlantic (AL96):A tropical wave over the central tropical Atlantic is producingdisorganized shower activity. However, this system is currently producing only limitedshower and T-Storm activity and development is likely to beslow to occur during the next few days. Thereafter, environmentalconditions could become a little more conducive for development.
